Flavor of TAKE OFF ENERGY COLA MIX

The smell is of a cheap cola imitation. From the smell, I didn’t expect much in terms of flavor.

When I took a sip without expecting much, a sweet and sour distinctive flavor spread along with the cola scent, and I immediately recognized it as unpleasant. Whether this can truly be called a cola flavor is questionable, as it has an acidic taste that feels more like a strong carbonated coffee, with a very "strange" vibe.

As I continued drinking, I realized that it was essentially the TAKE OFF original flavor with a cola flavor added. It’s like a 3:7 mix of a typical standard energy drink flavor with cola. If I leave this odd mixture in my mouth, the sweet and sour flavor of the original TAKE OFF slowly emerges.

The aftertaste leaves some acidity and still carries a hint of the standard sweet flavor, but the main note is cola. This is not good. (ヽ´ω`)

It’s hard to believe, but this flavor is still being sold as part of the TAKE OFF series.

The label says “ENERGY + COLA MIX,” which probably means a cola flavor mixed with the original TAKE OFF flavor, but it feels a bit too simple. I wish they had put a little more thought into that. (^_^;)

In Germany, TAKE OFF ENERGY COLA MIX is still sold as a standard product. I don’t know how popular it is, but I doubt that cola lovers would repeatedly buy this, so there must be some people who like this particular flavor. I personally don’t get it. Σ(´∀｀；)
