This is the TIGER Aloha BANANA from Aloha Seas, released as a limited edition in Poland in June 2022. I’m reviewing the same product, which was newly released in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in July 2024.

By coincidence, I was in the Czech Republic when the release lined up, so I was able to get my hands on the TIGER Aloha BANANA, which had been discontinued in Poland two years ago. Let’s dive into the review now.

Upon opening, a sweet and rich banana scent spreads. Banana-flavored energy drinks are surprisingly rare, so I’m excited to see how it tastes. Let’s give it a try.

When I take a sip, the flavor itself is pineapple, with only the banana scent added. There’s no thick sweetness or flavor typical of bananas, making it more of a tropical fruit flavor.

If you were expecting a strong banana taste, this one is a different experience. However, the pineapple flavor is surprisingly authentic compared to the TIGER Aloha PINEAPPLE released alongside it.

It tastes almost like it contains a lot of pineapple juice! The banana’s sweet scent doesn’t overpower the pineapple flavor, and it perfectly complements the tropical fruit vibe, creating an unusually high-quality tropical fruit flavor.

The aftertaste is not too sweet, and I felt like I was tasting the natural deliciousness of pineapple flesh. It’s not like the syrupy, overly sweet pineapple; it’s more like the natural taste of the fruit.

And this is a zero-sugar drink... It’s unbelievably delicious!

It contains 160mg of caffeine. No other energy ingredients are included.

The fruit juice content is 10% apple and 10% white grape, totaling 20%. Since 2020, more and more energy drinks have featured zero sugar with 20% fruit juice, becoming the standard for the current TIGER series.

The design is inspired by a Hawaiian sunset. There’s a van with a surfboard, and in the distance, you can spot a mountain that resembles Diamond Head.

The banana appearances here and there are quite amusing.

On the back, there’s a shark popping out of the banana.

There’s also a ferris wheel and pier, but actually, these aren’t found in Hawaii Σ(´∀｀；). It’s likely that the designers mixed up the imagery with places like Santa Monica, which has a similar beach vibe.

This is part of the TIGER Aloha series, which was launched in 2020 in Poland and in 2024 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
