This is TIGER Aloha PINEAPPLE, part of the Aloha series, which was released as a limited edition in Poland in June 2022.

Now, two years later, in July 2024, the same product has launched in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and I’m reviewing it here.

By chance, I was in the Czech Republic when the release happened, so I was able to get my hands on TIGER Aloha PINEAPPLE. I thought I’d never be able to find it again, so it was a lucky moment for me!

Upon opening, a burst of sweet pineapple, mango, and passion fruit aromas fills the air. It smells like the flavors are concentrated multiple times stronger than real fruit, making me excited even before taking a sip! Let’s give it a try.

The first taste is quite different from the intense aroma. The mouthfeel is light and refreshing, with a mix of pineapple and papaya flavors.

There’s no real fruitiness, and the flavor is more like that of a drink with no fruit juice, making it easy to drink without lingering too long on the palate. The strong use of flavoring makes this clear mouthfeel satisfying.

After drinking, a tropical fruit-like acidity lingers, leaving a sharp and refreshing aftertaste. What’s unique is the fresh, floral fragrance that gradually fades away.

This gentle floral aroma serves as an accent, creating changes in both the taste and fragrance. As a result, the flavor stays interesting even until the very last sip of the 500ml can. I love complex, evolving flavors like this.

If you prefer a more intense and juicy tropical fruit flavor, I’d recommend an energy drink with sugar and fruit juice content. However, despite being sugar-free, there’s no unpleasant taste from artificial sweeteners, and at just 50kcal, you can enjoy a fresh and satisfying flavor. I think it’s totally worth choosing TIGER Aloha PINEAPPLE.

Since 2024, there’s been a slight shift towards more understated designs in the TIGER series, even in Poland. It was great to enjoy this bold and playful design that’s characteristic of TIGER again.

Unlike Poland, the sales cycle in the Czech Republic isn’t as fast, so I hope the Aloha series stays available for a bit longer. If you’re traveling to the Czech Republic, definitely try to find it!
