Upon opening, a sweet aroma bursts out. However, the scent doesn’t immediately convey the grape or pomegranate that the product name suggests.

When poured into a glass… Wow! The color is a rich, bluish shade not typically found in nature, so much so that I couldn’t help but react. It’s wonderfully unhealthy-looking, just as you’d expect from an energy drink.

As you take a sip, a soft, sweet flavor spreads across your palate. Just like the aroma, there’s no distinct grape or pomegranate flavor; instead, the smooth, rich sweetness comes across as more of a light banana-like taste, while the sweet aftertaste has an apple-like quality to it.

There’s no acidity from grapes or pomegranate, and it’s unclear which flavor has actually been recreated. If you’re expecting grape or pomegranate based on the packaging and the product name "GRAPE POMEGRANATE," this isn’t the drink for you.

That said, it’s not bad, but the weird color and the difficulty in pinpointing the flavor can make it feel like you’re drinking it with a constant sense of discomfort, making it hard to fully immerse in the taste. I imagine most reactions will be something like, "What is this!?"
