Released in December 2021. *TIGER HYPER THUNDER* is a sugar-free citrus fruit-flavored energy drink from the *TIGER* brand, a major Polish energy drink brand, and part of their HYPER series.

TIGER energy drink are sold in countries around Poland, and every year, a large number of new products are released, including limited edition flavors and others that aren't listed on the official website. This time, I will review *TIGER HYPER THUNDER*, a sugar-free energy drink with 20% fruit juice, which I bought in Poland.

Upon opening the can, a fresh citrus aroma reminiscent of bursting orange and lime fruit flesh fills the air. Looking at this cloudy lime-green color, some might imagine a scent similar to NITRO SUPER DRY. It smells delicious... Let’s take a sip.

As I take a sip, the citrus flavor of fruits like lime and orange spreads with a refreshing taste, and the sweetness is subtly restrained.

Since it’s sugar-free, the mouthfeel is light, and the tangy lime and orange flavors, along with the refreshing fragrance that reminds me of fresh fruit flesh, persist just enough.

Even though there’s no heaviness or depth typical of sugar, the fresh citrus fruit mix is excellent. This is achieved through the use of strong flavoring, which also delivers a punchy flavor reminiscent of NITRO SUPER DRY. The taste is like an enhanced version of real fruit, minus the sugar, and it’s delicious.

Contains 160mg of caffeine. The 20% fruit juice content includes 10% apple, 8% white grape, 1% lemon, and 1% lime.

The arrow mark next to the carbohydrate section emphasizes the lack of sugar, which is a nice touch. This mark also appears on the versions released in Poland.

The TIGER HYPER series is characterized by a design that uses only two colors—lime green and white—to intricately depict the main image of a skull.

The theme this time is, “In the wild world of the jungle, you’ll need a citrus-flavored energy drink to reach the ancient civilization's treasures.” It’s a poem with a strong chūnibyō (adolescent delusion) vibe, but it’s interesting to see how this is reflected in the design of the product, inspired by the wild jungle.

TIGER HYPER THUNDER does not feature the lively skulls seen in other flavors. Instead, a large snake is depicted nesting in the skull, reflecting the theme of an ancient treasure hunt (other TIGER HYPER series products have lively skulls as the main image).

Large leaves, insects, birds, and even lime slices are subtly illustrated, evoking the image of a jungle or dense forest.

TIGER keeps things exciting with unique designs for each flavor. They never take shortcuts by simply changing the color in a common design. This level of design quality matches that of globally renowned brands. It’s too good to be limited to just Poland and the surrounding countries. The best part is the great taste.
