TIGER MANGO BOMB

Posted on March 17, 2024 | Last updated January 29, 2025

TIGER MANGO BOMB
Released in April 2021, "TIGER MANGO BOMB" is a mango-flavored energy drink with 20% fruit juice and half the sugar content.

The TIGER energy drink series has released several products that combine a reasonable amount of fruit juice while cutting sugar in half. Many of these products cater to the growing global health-conscious trend, which gives this brand a positive impression in my opinion.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

Flavor of TIGER MANGO BOMB

When opened, a sweet and tangy, rich mango scent bursts out. It has a fresh aroma similar to "Mango Loco," raising expectations before drinking. Let's give it a try.
Flavor of TIGER MANGO BOMB
As you take a sip, the light and sweetly sour mango flavor spreads in your mouth.

Although the drink contains a reasonable 20% fruit juice, the texture and richness of the mango pulp are subdued. It has a lighter, clearer drinking experience than expected from its strong aroma.

The sourness stands out more than the sweetness or richness, making it feel like a tropical fruit mix flavor, including hints of passion fruit or papaya, in addition to the mango.

After drinking, there’s almost no residue left in the mouth, and the aftertaste is so clear that you might forget there's 20% fruit juice. The half-sugar type likely contributes to this drinkability.

Even with the 500ml large volume, the light and refreshing tropical fruit flavor makes it so easy to drink that you might find yourself finishing it without realizing it. Personally, I really enjoy energy drinks with this kind of natural, clear fruit flavor.

Energy Ingredients of TIGER MANGO BOMB

Energy Ingredients of TIGER MANGO BOMB
It contains 160mg of caffeine, but no additional energy ingredients.

The breakdown of the 20% fruit juice is 19% apple and 1% mango. With 24g of sugar and 105kcal, it’s a half-sugar type, which helps reduce excessive sugar intake while still allowing you to enjoy the sweetness of sugar.

Design of TIGER MANGO BOMB

The design is flashy and detailed, packed with various elements typical of the TIGER series!
Design of TIGER MANGO BOMB
The base color is the yellow of mango pulp, and a unique world is depicted with elements like tigers, roses, dice, and bombs.

Design of TIGER MANGO BOMB
The delicious-looking mango pulp is equipped with a fuse, and the "Mango Bomb" is depicted, resembling a bomb made of mango pulp.

The fuse extending from the Mango Bomb reaches the top of the can, where there’s a match flame!
Design of TIGER MANGO BOMB
It seems to convey a message that the mango's flavor will "explode" as soon as you take a drink.

This is the energy poem of the TIGER series. I wonder what it says?
Design of TIGER MANGO BOMB
When translated, it says, "The juice blend with 20% fruit juice explodes with flavor the moment you drink it," and it’s just as expected!

However, after reading this poem, one might imagine a rich flavor from the fruit juice blend, right? In reality, the taste is a clear and easy-to-drink tropical mango flavor, so the honest impression, including the expectations before drinking, might be divided.
