When opened, a rich scent of mango and orange with a strong fruitiness fills the air. The liquid is a cloudy orange, and the taste seems promising. Let's give it a try.

Upon tasting, the flavor is a refreshing blend of mango and orange with a moderate sweetness and a slightly tart flavor. It’s not as heavy or intense as the scent suggests, and instead, the tartness gives way to a juicy fruitiness.

Although it's fruit juice-free, the juicy acidity and fragrance are impressive and rival even mango-flavored energy drinks with real fruit juice. The fruity mango flavor that comes through from the tartness is surprisingly well-executed, and it stands out compared to other fruit juice-containing energy drinks.

The sweetness and sugary fragrance are kept in check, which prevents it from becoming overly rich. This is because the sugar content is reduced to half that of the regular version, making it a "half-sugar" drink.

TIGER MAX MANGO is a regular product available year-round, so be sure to try it during your trip to Poland. (In neighboring Czech Republic, it is sold in a 500ml can with the regular caffeine content.) While there are other mango-flavored energy drinks, this one offers a distinct tartness and flavor that sets it apart.

Energy Ingredients of TIGER MAX MANGO

It contains 120mg of caffeine. No other energy ingredients are included.

Since January 1, 2024, a new regulation has been in effect in Poland, banning the sale of energy drinks with high caffeine content to minors. TIGER MAX MANGO exceeds this caffeine limit. As a result, most of the products in the TIGER series have been reformulated to meet the new regulation with a reduced caffeine content.

So far, the TIGER MAX series is still being sold with the 50% increased caffeine content, but due to the age verification process at the time of purchase, I suspect stores might stop stocking it.

Many other energy drinks from different companies are still affected by this regulation, so it will be interesting to see how the market share of the TIGER MAX series and other products will evolve in the future.

Design of TIGER MAX MANGO

The TIGER MAX series, including TIGER MAX MANGO and TIGER MAX CLASSIC, features a smooth, matte finish with a soft texture.

The quality feels premium, and the combination of the flavor's yellow color with faded black text gives it a calm, sophisticated look that I personally like.

In Poland, there is no 250ml mango-flavored version with the regular caffeine content. Therefore, TIGER MAX MANGO is not just a regular mango-flavored energy drink with added caffeine, but specifically a “caffeine-boosted” version of the mango flavor.

Previously, a 250ml mango-flavored version was available in the Czech Republic, but it’s become harder to find recently. And in Czech Republic, there is no caffeine-boosted version available.
