Flavor of TIGER SPEED
Upon opening, a sweet banana-like scent bursts out. Considering the can color, I didn’t expect a banana flavor, so I wondered if there might be another flavor. When I thought about it, I realized it might be similar to a cola flavor! Sure enough, the drink itself is cola-colored. Let’s give it a try.
When I took a sip, a tangy pomegranate and cherry flavor stood out, with the sweet, banana-like aroma from the opening blending into the mix, creating a unique fruity taste.
It might be easier for Japanese people to imagine it as a fruity flavor, with the chemical aftertaste removed from typical guarana-based drinks. It tastes cola-like, but it’s not cola; it’s a sweet and sour flavor that’s reminiscent of cola.
After drinking, a slight aftertaste lingers in the mouth. The sugar content is typical of full-sugar drinks, but the taste doesn’t feel too heavy. Instead, it’s relatively light and easy to drink. It retains its fruity flavor well from refrigerated temperature to room temperature, which is one of its defining characteristics.
Energy Ingredients of TIGER SPEED
It contains 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, and 750mg of guarana. A distinctive feature of TIGER SPEED is the small amount of Vitamin C (30mg) and Magnesium (140mg) included.
Design of TIGER SPEED
The design features a black base with the tiger face, which is consistent with the other original line products. However, TIGER SPEED also includes a silhouette resembling a speedometer.
Given the product name "TIGER SPEED," I expected it to contain ingredients that would deliver rapid effects, but I didn’t find any specific mention of that.
It is worth noting the inclusion of guarana, Vitamin C, and magnesium, which are unique to this product, but the overall concept remains somewhat unclear.
TIGER SPEED has been a long-selling product in the Czech Republic under the original line, featuring a simple design. It is also available in a mini size (250ml). In terms of positioning, it may be similar to the role of Monster Energy’s Assault flavor.
