In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

Flavor of V ENERGY BLUE (Initial Release)

Upon opening, a sweet tropical fruit aroma fills the air. From this blue can...? When I first drank V ENERGY BLUE, I didn’t think it was a tropical fruit flavor at all, and I felt it was very off-putting.

V ENERGY BLUE (Initial Release)
When poured into a glass, it has a yellow color that’s no different from any classic flavor. After drinking dozens of cans, I always feel that there’s no need to pour V ENERGY BLUE into a glass (^_^;)

Now, let's give it a try.

The moment it touches my lips, a burst of peach, pineapple, apple, kiwi, mango, passion fruit, and orange fills my mouth – a bright, refreshing mix of classic tropical fruits.

This isn’t a rich and real tropical fruit flavor with fruit juice; it’s an optimally controlled tropical fruit flavor with sugar and aroma. It's full-bodied but not heavy, and has a refreshing taste, so I can easily finish a 500ml can in one go.

The aftertaste lingers just enough, with a balance of sweetness, sourness, fragrance, and freshness that isn’t overpowering, so I can drink it daily without getting bored.

For some reason, some energy drink manufacturers tend to add a chemical taste to tropical fruit flavors, but V ENERGY BLUE pursues an authentic and delicious tropical fruit flavor, making it something anyone can enjoy.

When it comes to fruit-flavored energy drinks, both with and without juice have their merits, and they can’t really be compared. However, if you like tropical fruit flavors, you’re sure to enjoy V ENERGY BLUE.

Energy Ingredients of V ENERGY BLUE (Initial Release)

V ENERGY BLUE (Initial Release)
It also contains 69.4g of sugar, so be careful not to overconsume.

Design of V ENERGY BLUE (Initial Release)

The design is simple, as it's a staple of the V Energy series – just a blue can with the V logo. Honestly, no one would expect a fruit flavor to come out of this design.

V ENERGY BLUE (Initial Release)
With such a simple design, it continues to sell well in the Oceania energy drink market. Isn't that intriguing?! In fact, while walking around town, you'll frequently pass by people carrying V Energy Drinks.

V ENERGY BLUE (Initial Release)
Over time, various collaboration designs and campaign designs of V ENERGY BLUE have appeared. It's available in 500ml, 275ml pack, and 250ml sizes.

In Australia and New Zealand, V Energy Drink boasts an unwavering popularity, surpassing Red Bull globally. If you’ve never tried it, you might wonder, “Just how good can it be?” Well, I highly recommend you try it in the hot Australian summer – it’ll taste several times better than drinking it in Japan, at home!
