Flavor of V ENERGY RASPBERRY LEMONADE
Upon opening, a sweet and tangy aroma reminiscent of fruity candies fills the air. However, the scent doesn't strongly resemble the raspberries or lemonade implied by the flavor name.
When tasted, it delivers a citrusy, candy-like sourness akin to artificial lemon candies rather than authentic raspberry or lemonade flavors. It’s a distinctly lemon candy flavor with no discernible berry notes or the sweet and tangy balance typical of lemonade.
Interestingly, this aligns with impressions from past reviews of V ENERGY TORTURED ORCHARD, suggesting the flavor hasn’t significantly changed since its initial release as a limited edition. Despite a rebranding in 2023, which saw tweaks to all V ENERGY flavors, the flavor profile remains mostly consistent. (There are minor changes in the ingredients, though.)
If you try drinking this while imagining raspberry, you might catch faint sour berry-like notes. Similarly, the sourness might evoke lemon. However, it’s safe to say the flavor doesn’t match either “raspberry” or “lemonade” exactly.
That said, the sweet and tangy lemon candy flavor, combined with its lingering aftertaste, has a certain addictive quality. It’s easy to see why it remains a popular staple flavor.
Rather than focusing on the “raspberry” and “lemonade” in the name, it’s better to enjoy this drink for what it is: a lemon candy flavor. The taste itself is genuinely enjoyable, and the citrusy tartness provides a refreshing kick perfect for summer.

Contains 156mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, 600mg of guarana, and 125mg of glucuronolactone. These are standard energy ingredient levels for the V ENERGY series.
Design of V ENERGY RASPBERRY LEMONADE
The 2023 redesign introduced a two-tone color scheme based on the flavor. This version features a combination of raspberry pink and yellow.
Unfortunately, the simplicity of the design doesn’t leave much to discuss. It would have been nice if they had retained and slightly modified the pre-staple design.
Comparing the old and new designs...
The signature V green has been removed, leaving only the flavor colors. While the design is simple, it has a cohesive and clean aesthetic.
