V ENERGY SPIKED PUNCH was released as a limited edition in New Zealand in 2016. The promotion leading up to the release, typical of V Energy drinks, was quite interesting, and the taste is exceptional – a fruity masterpiece based on the V Energy formula.

The aroma of citrus fruits with a classic color scheme. There's also a hint of bitter peel, giving off a vibe similar to Japan's Awaraise.

When you take a sip, you get the signature tartness of V Energy, combined with the acidity of lime, lemon, and orange, as well as the bitterness and astringency of the peel. The citrus fruit flavor is delicious (๑´ڡ`๑).

This isn't a real fruit flavor but a mix of V's original 50 with a bitter citrus fruit 50. It's good, but without the original V flavor, the fruitiness might have felt more natural Σ(´∀｀；).

It's rare for energy drink brands around the world to mix their original flavor straight into other flavors, but V Energy pulls it off. Some budget brands in the EU do this, though it doesn't taste as good. Since V's original flavor is fruity with a sharp tang, it surprisingly pairs well with many fruit flavors.

Contains 155mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, 600mg of guarana, and 125mg of glucuronolactone. It has a citrus-bitter taste but no fruit juice.

SPIKED PUNCH was not released in Australia, only in New Zealand.

There are three designs—blue, orange, and pink—each available in 250ml, 500ml, and 330ml glass bottles. All three colors feature the same flavor. V Energy is known for releasing up to nine products as limited-edition flavors (*´艸｀*).

In New Zealand, V Energy, celebrating 20 years since its launch in 1997, hinted that the time might have come to change the classic V Energy Original flavor. They did a test marketing campaign where a select few tried the new recipe, and the sample they received was SPIKED PUNCH.

Though many people wanted to keep the original flavor unchanged, the test marketing was conducted, and it was later revealed that the sample distributed was actually a pre-release of the SPIKED PUNCH product.

"Spiked punch" refers to a drink that secretly contains alcohol or other additives, but this product was labeled non-alcoholic on the back.

During the test marketing, it became a topic on social media that there was something added to the original V Energy flavor, which turned out to be SPIKED PUNCH (^_^;). V Energy has had various promotional campaigns for new releases, but this was the first time they used this kind of method.
