The original V ENERGY TROPICAL TANG was released in May 2023. Up until then, the "REFRESH Series" with zero sugar had been released consecutively, and this full-sugar new release marked the first in three years since 2020.

This version of V ENERGY TROPICAL TANG underwent a full brand-wide redesign, and within just six months of its launch, it was replaced with a second-generation version.
