As soon as I opened the can, the rich pineapple scent hit me, but for some reason, there was also a soapy aroma…

The color appears to be a classic yellow, but it’s a deeper, more muted yellow that gives off a sense of pineapple.

When I took a sip, a rich, sweet and sour pineapple flavor spread across my mouth, followed by a taste and scent that resembled the residue left behind by dish soap bubbles. Not only that, but after finishing the drink, a menthol-like coolness and a toothpaste-like scent lingered for several seconds, making it difficult to purely enjoy the pineapple flavor (ヽ´ω`)

Adding ice made the flavor more palatable by diluting it, but as it approached room temperature, the distinct soapy, detergent, and toothpaste-like taste became more prominent. While the flavor wasn’t overwhelmingly strong, it deviated from the expected fruity pineapple taste, and personally, it was far from what I had anticipated.

It was also noted that it contains no fruit juice. Although I didn’t want to drink much due to the unpleasant taste, the pineapple sweetness was quite realistic, so it’s a shame…

Among V Energy Drink’s highly designed products, this can design stands out. The pineapple flavor was easy to identify, and it caught attention on the shelves.

A skull floats in the pitch-black sea, while a pineapple rests above it. The font for TWISTED TROPICS also exudes a horror-thriller vibe, and the overall color scheme is beautiful.

The 500ml can is thick, and the presence of the pineapple is striking. When you see it, you can’t help but imagine a juicy pineapple flavor. Unfortunately, the actual taste doesn’t live up to the expectation… (^_^;)

The promotional video before the release had a great atmosphere.

Although the Pineapple Crush didn’t quite hit the mark, I hope the TWISTED TROPICS series continues to release limited flavors every summer.
