This is the WATERMELON LIME from the newly revamped Zero Sugar series, which was released in 2022. Prior to 2022, it was part of the low-calorie series, but after the redesign, it has become a more distinct Zero Sugar product, and the color has also been updated.

Flavor of VENOM ENERGY ZERO SUGAR WATERMELON LIME

When pouring it into a glass, the color is a melon soda-like green, different from the watermelon flavor I had imagined. The aroma isn’t too grassy but gives off a sweet watermelon bar-like scent, accompanied by a unique artificial note that feels a bit strong... I believe this is likely attempting to replicate a grassy note.

Upon tasting, it has a sweet watermelon candy flavor with a sharp tang, which I assume is the lime flavor.

The distinctive grassy taste typical of watermelon flavors is replaced with an artificial scent, which might feel a bit off. Whether you can tolerate this scent will likely determine whether people enjoy it or not.

There is no lingering taste of artificial sweeteners, and the mellow sweetness and acidity create a flavor that seems almost impossible for a Zero Sugar drink. The high level of completion, characteristic of the VENOM ENERGY series, is evident.

If only the scent could be improved, I personally think this could be the best Zero Sugar watermelon flavor.

The old version of Watermelon Lime was still available in the U.S., so I compared the old low-calorie version with the new Zero Sugar version. Both the old low-calorie series and the new Zero Sugar series contain zero sugar and 10kcal.

To summarize, there is almost no difference in taste or aroma. While other VENOM Zero Sugar series had flavor revisions during the redesign, the Watermelon Lime flavor remained unchanged, only the packaging was updated. This might suggest that it was already a well-received and well-balanced flavor.
