Released in September 2018, this is the winter limited edition, Blue & Black Berries. It's great to see a budget energy drink brand continuing to release seasonal limited edition flavors every year, even after years in the business.

The fruitiness is weak, and the artificial blueberry sweetness is distinctive. There is a slight astringency typical of berries, but unfortunately, this comes off as somewhat chemical-tasting.

The berry-like tartness is missing, and it feels more like a sugary berry flavor, which may come across as a cheap flavor aimed at children. It's a bit of a missed opportunity.

The taste itself isn’t bad, and as a cheap berry-flavored juice sweetened with sugar, it’s about average. Maybe I got my hopes up a bit too much since it’s a seasonal limited edition (^_^;)

The polygon design, revamped in 2018, is a beautiful combination of blue and purple, effectively capturing the image of blueberries and blackberries.

Until then, there were no blue cans in the WATT series, so this one stood out prominently on store shelves as "the blue WATT."

Sometimes, limited edition flavors in the WATT series get regular releases, but unfortunately, the BLUE & BLACK BERRIES remained a seasonal limited edition and was discontinued. I wonder if it was always intended to be a limited product from the start or if it was discontinued due to unfavorable feedback. Personally, I felt it was not quite the typical WATT flavor.
