The spiced aroma doesn’t affect the taste itself, making it an easy-to-drink sweet cola. Personally, I still prefer drinking it with a lot of ice.

With a generous amount of ice, it turns into a crisp and refreshing cola, making it much easier to enjoy—highly recommended.

The color scheme clearly reflects its cola flavor, with black as the base and red as the accent color.

According to the press release, the purpose of this renewal—changing only the design without altering the contents—was to create "a name and design that make the taste easier to imagine." With an appearance that makes the cola flavor immediately obvious on store shelves, it seems the goal of the renewal has been successfully achieved.

Now, let's compare it with the previous DARK INFERNO and see how much the image has changed.

So in terms of the *concept* behind this renewal—making the flavor easier to imagine from the name and design—I agree with the direction.

That said, one of the appeals of ZONe up until now was the sense of excitement that came from not knowing the flavor until you tried it. I think many users enjoyed that mystery. In fact, I’ve even come across cases where the manufacturer deliberately avoided revealing specific flavor names in stores.

Why, then, did they decide to shift away from that branding and now emphasize the flavor up front?

There could be many reasons, but most likely, they saw greater value in changing the long-established brand image in favor of a “more intuitive name and design.”

This kind of bold design renewal was surprising, but I’m curious to see whether future releases will continue along this more consumer-friendly path.
