Although the product name remains "ZONe ENERGY FRUITS MIX BOOST," it may seem like a typical design update at first glance. However, the contents have been significantly changed, and the flavor is different, so it is not the same product.

Despite having 30% fruit juice, the aftertaste isn’t heavy; it’s refreshing and lets you enjoy the natural fruit flavor. Now, let's compare it with the old ZONe ENERGY FRUITS MIX BOOST.

First, let’s compare the aromas. The old ZONe ENERGY FRUITS MIX BOOST had a fresh, pineapple-dominant scent, a typical tropical fruit flavor. In contrast, the new ZONe ENERGY FRUITS MIX BOOST has a stronger grape scent, and the tropical, fresh pineapple aroma from the old version is gone.

Both offer the enjoyment of the distinct flavors of each fruit, so there’s no real superiority between them, but if you were a fan of the old tropical taste, you might be disappointed with the new version.

Either way, since it contains an unusually high amount of sugar—over 70g per 500ml—it’s advisable to adjust your intake and frequency, considering the potential risks of obesity, etc.

When comparing the new and old designs, the fruit imagery has been enhanced, making it easier to associate the flavor with the design.

The ZONe series has had many designs where it’s hard to imagine the flavor from the packaging and product name. However, the FRUITS MIX BOOST design is highly rated for evoking the flavor and raising expectations.

That said, since the flavor has completely changed, it would have been better to change the product name. I can imagine people buying this expecting the old flavor only to find it’s different.

While the product name on the front hasn’t changed, it does say "FRUITS MIX BOOST + GRAPE" in small print on the back.

Especially for those who loved the tropical taste of the old version, this might feel like "the old version was discontinued, and the same product name was used for a new flavor replacement."
