When I take a sip, it’s a sweet, juicy apple flavor bursting with the texture of real fruit. Despite only containing 12% juice, the taste and aroma are so rich. Especially when drinking it at room temperature, it tastes like freshly pressed apple juice with a full-bodied richness.

The residual sweetness left in the mouth after eating a sweet apple is present here too. This, combined with the rich fragrance, creates the taste of a high-juice apple drink, with the natural sweetness of apples lingering. The gentle sweetness is highly satisfying.

When chilled, the apple flesh taste and juicy sweetness stand out even more. It’s delicious even when cold. ZONe Typhoon allows you to enjoy the sweet taste of apple flesh whether at room temperature or chilled, so I recommend trying both.

Even with plenty of ice, the fruitiness remains, and the flavor becomes crisp and refreshing. It’s perfect for the upcoming summer season. If you want to enjoy it richly, I recommend it at room temperature or lightly chilled; if you’re looking for a refreshing experience, try it with plenty of ice.

Despite the bold design of the can, ZONe Typhoon’s flavor is the opposite—soft, rich, and wonderfully sweet apple. Without any unnecessary chemical taste or overly distinctive flavors, it sticks to a sweet apple profile, which makes it quite impressive.

Energy Ingredients of ZONe Typhoon

Contains 75mg of caffeine and 500mg of arginine. It also includes 12% juice, primarily apple and European pear.

ZONe is known for its high sugar content, and ZONe Typhoon also contains 75.5g of sugar per can. With this high sugar content, it's a top contender in the worst energy drink sugar rankings, so be cautious not to overconsume.

Design of ZONe Typhoon

The gold can with a lightning pattern conveys the intense power of a typhoon, with the ZONe logo acting as the eye of the storm—a simple yet dynamic design.

While it has the typical energy drink vibe, the rich sweetness of the apple flavor seems to contradict the overall energy drink image.

The barcode area on the back is also designed like a lightning bolt.

Since the flavor of ZONe Typhoon is particularly rich and exceptional, personally, I think it would have been better to go all-in on the apple theme. For example, a name and design that clearly emphasizes apple, like with ZONe ENERGY FRUITS MIX BOOST, would have been a great approach.

When the contents are delicious, it’s always nice to have a can design that enhances both the anticipation before drinking and the excitement when you actually drink it.

ZONEのインビジブルスナイパーのようなケミカル感のある味だろうと思っていたのだが良い意味で裏切られた。洋梨の爽やかな香りがりんごのガツンとくる甘さを包み込んでいて、しつこさがない。上品な味だと思う。この味ならエデンの園にある禁断の果実みたいなイメージの方があっている気がする。ともあれ、ZONE最高傑作であることは間違いない。

もうそろそろ賞味期限なので買いためてたのを飲みました。
リンゴ味と聞いていたので以前出していたスナイパーと同じ感じかなと思っていたのですが、良い意味で予想を裏切られました。
口当たりはリンゴの爽やかな味なのですが、後味にぐわっと柑橘系の香りがして明確にスナイパーとは違う飲み心地。
同じ系統の味でもこれだけ変化をつけられるのは凄い。
もっと買いためておけばよかったと思わせる傑作。
再販してほしい。
