Flavor of ZONe Energy Drink Ver. 2.2.0 type-T

When opened, the scent is a sweet, classic flavor. It’s the same as the original ZONe.

When I tasted it, the sweet and sour flavor persisted, with a classic energy drink profile. As I mentioned in my review of Ver. 2.0.0, I feel like the chemical taste has been reduced compared to the earlier versions of ZONe. Personally, I find this version to be smoother and easier to drink.

The acidity provides a mild, accenting stimulation, enveloped by a gentle sweetness. At room temperature, the sweet and rich flavor has a strong Mogu-Mogu texture (smooth and enveloping texture). This flavor is in the same vein as the Monster Energy Original.

When ice is added, the taste sharpens, and the scent lingers, enhancing the drink’s crispness and fullness. Personally, I recommend drinking the original ZONe with ice.

Energy Ingredients of ZONe Energy Drink Ver. 2.2.0 type-T

It contains 150mg of caffeine, 1000mg of arginine, and, for the first time, taurine has been added.

As noted, taurine is not added as a medicinal ingredient, but rather as a “flavoring agent.”

This is similar to the inclusion of taurine in Japanese energy drinks such as Miracle Energy V. The exact amount of taurine is not specified, but it’s likely less than the caffeine, as it’s listed toward the end of the ingredient list.

Design of ZONe Energy Drink Ver. 2.2.0 type-T

When compared to Ver. 2.0.0, there are more lightning effects around the power logo, and the 150mg caffeine text is now more prominent. With the updated design in Ver. 2.2.0 type-T, the overall balance of the empty space feels more pleasing.

The "type-T" label at the top of the can likely refers to the taurine included in this version, but there’s no explanation provided...

It seems like the “special ingredient” claim is something they avoided, which is why they went with "type-T". What’s the actual reason behind it? We may never know.

The barcode on the back, which had been digitally decorated in previous versions, is now completely destroyed in Ver. 2.2.0 type-T.

I wonder how well this minor update from 2.0.0 to 2.2.0 has been recognized by the general public?

Ver.2.2.0 type-Tは今年の4月ぐらいに発売されてたから結構認知されてるんじゃ..？
個人的にはZONe　Ver.2.2.0 type-Tは味のクセもあまりなくてすごくの飲みやすいと思いますが、飲み終わった１時間後ぐらいからめちゃくちゃ喉が乾いてしまう…。
自分は主に勉強前にエナドリを飲むんですが、集中してきたタイミングで喉が乾くので集中できなくなってしまうんですよね…
様々なことに「没頭」をするを売りにするならもう少し味や成分を変えたりしてほしいなって思います。

少しずつアップデートされていくZONeですが、味の大きな変化はありません。ただ、少しサッパリ感とか（人によりますが）が変わるかなと思います。ですが、これが一番いい！というのはこのノーマル系の種類ではありません。全部美味しいです。
